Completed: Train Station Delft

The former train station was built in 1885 and designed in the Renaissance style by architect Posthumus Meyjes Sr. Since the opening of the new adjacent station in 2015, however, the building has remained vacant. On behalf of the owner NS Real Estate (Dutch Railways) Scala represented BOEi in the auction of the former station.

In conjunction with the municipality of Delft, Dutch Railways are redeveloping the surrounding area. The new train station is now located underground making way for a new residential area above on ground level including 1.200 houses and app. 20.000 sqm of mixed use commercial space.

In the meantime the old train station planning changed into mixed use allowing the building to become a commercial space. The former station is a true eye catcher in this new developed area.

On behalf of the owner NS Real Estate Scala respresentated BOEi in the auction of the former station.
