Scandinavia's largest designer outlet will be located with the Legoland resort with over 3million annual visitors. The area is well known for its National Parks and outdoor activities making it one of Denmark’s top tourist destinations. Leasing is underway with an opening date in Q3 2020.
The project is a joint venture between London based investor and developer, Resolution Property and Lalandia, operator of the Billund waterpark. The development is a €120 million state-of-the-art shopping centre in Billund Resort, a flourishing tourist hub in Denmark.
Billund Designer Outlet is situated adjacent to Legoland Billund Resort, the Lalandia Holiday Resort with 880 holiday homes, Lalandia Aquadome, and the new Lego House completed in 2017.
Approximately 3 million tourists visit the Danish town annually, and the site is only five minutes away from Billund International Airport – the second largest airport in Denmark, which accommodates more than 3 million travelers annually. Resolution Property will deliver 20,400 sq m GLA across two phases.
The Outlet will provide 120 retail stores, five high-quality restaurants, and additional leisure offerings. Once completed, the centre will be open seven days a week to cater to local shoppers and visiting tourists.
